The Myanmar rowing team achieved a gold medal victory at the 2024 ICF Dragon Boat World Cup and the World Dragon Boat Championships held from 24 October to 3 November.
These events are taking place in Yichang, China, and Puerto Princesa, the Philippines. The competition, which commenced on 25 October, saw the Myanmar team secure first place in the men’s 8-oar, 2,000-metre event, clinching the gold medal.
In the finals of this category, twelve teams competed fiercely, with Myanmar emerging as the champion, followed by Thailand with the silver medal, and China taking the bronze.
