China will not allow on its soil the activities that will adversely affect Myanmar, said Chinese Prime Minister H.E. Mr. Li Quiang on 6th November morning in Kunming during his meeting with State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Minn Aung Hlaing.

The Chinese PM said China would provide full support for prevalence of peace and tranquility inside Myanmar and that China would always be a good neighbour.

The PM also expressed his sincere appreciation for invitation on the part of Myanmar government for peaceful resolution of the armed conflicts through employment of political means. He also expressed his support for the five-point roadmap of SAC government and promised to provide necessary assistance for making Myanmar election a success.

He went on to say that China reaffirmed Myanmar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and that China would in no way permit carrying out on its soil of the activities which will adversely affect Myanmar.

Additionally, the Chinese PM said that the border gates shall be under the management of the government and measures will be taken as needed to ensure full management of the border gates.

“We will continue to discuss better Sino-Myanmar ties and building of greater trust politically. As the China-Myanmar economic corridor construction project is a top priority one, we would carry on with a greater momentum,” said the Chinese PM.

Furthermore, the bilateral cooperation in multi-sectors will be enhanced, he said. Last but not least, the PM promised to stand with Myanmar in the international affairs as a good neighbour, saying the affairs of Myanmar is also the affairs of its neighbour.
