ASEAN Special Envoy meets Chinese FM in Bagan
ASEAN Special Envoy on Myanmar Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia had a separate meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister on 3rd July in Bagan.
They are now in Bagan to attend the 7th Mekong-Langcang Foreign Ministers Meeting hosted by Myanmar.
Mr Wang and the ASEAN Special Envoy have discussed matters relating to the regional development.
The discussions were fruitful with commitments made to further promote bilateral ties
Mekong-Langcang cooperation program was initiated by China in 2016, and the China sponsored program involves the countries within Mekong Region: Cambodia, Laos,Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. This year witnesses China and Myanmar as the co-chairs.
