Russia Polytechnic State University to cooperate with Myanmar

Polytechnic State University in St Petersburg in Russia will cooperate with Myanmar in the field of science and technology, it is learnt.

During his visit on the morning of 14 July to the Polytechnic State University in St Petersburg, SAC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing was informed of cooperation by the Rector of the University, it is learnt.

The Rector has discussed with the Senior General to enable his University to cooperate with
Yangon Technological University and Mandalay Technological University.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing also discussed sending of Myanmar scholars to Politechnic State University in St Petersburg in Russia.

Polytechnic State university was established in 1899, and this Technological University has three Faculties–the Faculty of Physics, the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Socio-economics.

There are more than 30,000 international students from US, UK, Germany, Finland, Sweden and other CIS countries at the University.
